At Newgate Kennels, we understand that your furry friend deserves the best care and attention. That’s why we offer top-notch dog grooming services tailored to meet the unique needs of each pet. Our experienced and compassionate groomers are dedicated to ensuring that your dog looks and feels their best.
The following prices are a general guide, charges depend on the dog’s behaviour, their coat condition, and time spent being groomed. All prices include shampoo, drying, insurance and VAT. All grooming equipment is regularly sterilised.
The groomers will be happy to have a quick consultation with you. We keep all of our trimming and bathing details on record so we can always check back and look at previous treatments your dog may have had. If you would like to book please contact us and we will try to find an appointment which best suits.
We usually need 4-5 weeks notice for trimming appointments. Particularly busy times for grooming are spring/early summer and leading up to Christmas.
Arrival from 8.00 and collect before 6.00, this all inclusive day includes a consultation on arrival, then a relax in his/ her own room with en-suite patio and access to our large exercise runs. Its then time for a leisurely woodland walk and after a short nap its time for lunch.
The afternoon is spent being thoroughly pampered. First of all, an all over groom, then its bath time using one of our fantastic range of shampoos, with a full body massage. The coat is thoroughly rinsed using the eco health shower which further massages the skin. Then its time to blow dry! Once dry your dog is then styled to your specification, and is finished with a spritz of one of our colognes.
The only thing left to do now is relax, before its home time.
The Groom and Crèche day is priced at your dogs usual treatment price plus:
On arrival you will receive a free consultation to assess the condition of the coat. Your dog will receive an all over groom, then its bath time using one of our fantastic range of shampoos, with a full body massage. The coat is thoroughly rinsed using the eco health shower which further massages the skin. Then its time to blow dry and a good de-shed. Ears and anal glands will be checked and nails trimmed. The coat will be finished with a spritz of Spa Cologne.
We use our ‘Dirty Beastie’ shampoo by Wahl for all bathing treatments, for those dogs with sensitive skin we are pleased to offer ‘Aloe Soothe’ also by Wahl, our our ‘Diamond White’ shampoo for those dogs with a white coat.
